Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction activities.
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding or temporary structures.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist with framing, metal stud framing, and drywall installation.
- Support masonry work including stucco, tile laying, and brickwork as needed for various projects.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving materials, equipment, and supplies around the site.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working with concrete mixers, concrete pumps, roofing materials, and during restoration or renovation projects.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites is highly preferred; familiarity with commercial or residential projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading enhances your ability to contribute effectively.
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and masonry work is desirable.
- Skilled in operating power tools, heavy equipment (such as forklifts or cranes), and performing heavy lifting tasks safely.
- Basic understanding of schematics, metal stud framing, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and roofing techniques is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving can be beneficial for transporting materials or equipment.

Pay: $22.85 - $27.52 per hour
