Job Summary: The Strategic Communications Coordinator (SCC) advances Cinnaire’s strategic communications plan through high-quality content production, digital communications, brand-aligned materials, and coordinated marketing deliverables. The SCC plays a hands-on role in translating communications priorities into clear, engaging resources across print, digital, web, media, social, and event channels. This position manages multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while helping ensure Cinnaire’s messaging, visual identity, and stakeholder communications are consistent, timely, and effective.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as Strategic Communications (SC) liaison across business lines to ensure SC communications objectives are supported.
- Manage the functionality and coordination of Communications projects and activities.
- Using InDesign templates, produce print and digital ads, signage, one pagers, PowerPoint presentations and case studies.
- Manage inventory of collateral material, tradeshow assets and marketing materials for conferences and events.
- Manage updates to Cinnaire's website.
- Develop internal and external surveys.
- Produce newsletters, announcements and events invitations.
- Maintain Cinnaire’s media distribution platform and distribute press releases; track and report media coverage.
- Draft project case studies and staff profiles.
- Curate Marketing Resources library to ensure marketing materials are updated and accessible.
- Create social media posts and images to support Cinnaire’s social media plan.
- Track monthly and year-over-year marketing KPIs for the department dashboard.
- Collaborate with SCSVP on coordinating and facilitating events including receptions, grand openings, groundbreakings and resident events.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, graphic design, public relations, or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education, training, portfolio, and relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of two years’ working experience in marketing or graphic design development
- Strong editorial and proofreading skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint as well as WordPress, Photoshop, InDesign, Constant Contact, Survey Monkey
- Demonstrable experience in coordinating integrated marketing deliverables, such as collateral material, digital announcements and press releases
- Working knowledge of web and marketing analytics tools
