Co-Lead Preschool Teacher
The Barnyard Preschool is seeking someone who is reliable, takes initiative, values teamwork, and is genuinely passionate about working with young children. The ideal candidate is dependable, positive, confident, and looking for a long-term position where they can build meaningful relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers.
The Barnyard Preschool is a licensed preschool center operating in a cozy residential setting. With just two classes of 12 children each day, we offer the warmth and connection of a small school community while maintaining the structure and professionalism of a preschool center. Our program combines play-based learning, Montessori, Zoophonics, art, science, cooking, movement, and hands-on experiences to create meaningful learning opportunities each day.
Position Details:
Monday-Friday 8:15 a.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Starting pay: $16-$18 per hour depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or early childhood setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lead small groups and engage children in learning activities
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
