About Us
Whitehall Health Centre is an established chiropractic and regenerative medicine practice specializing in the treatment of musculoskeletal pain using advanced, non-invasive technologies. We help patients avoid surgery, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love through Shockwave Therapy, chiropractic care, spinal decompression, laser therapy, and other innovative treatments.
We are looking for a motivated, compassionate team member who enjoys working one-on-one with patients and has an interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, or human movement.
No Shockwave experience is required. We provide comprehensive paid training and certification upon hire.
This position is ideal for graduates or students in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Science, Athletic Training, Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Physician Assistant, Chiropractic, or other healthcare-related fields looking to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience.
What You'll Do
As an Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist, you'll work directly with patients under the supervision of our providers while becoming a certified Shockwave Therapy Technician.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform shockwave therapy treatments following physician-prescribed treatment plans
- Prepare patients for treatment and explain procedures to ensure comfort and confidence
- Monitor patients throughout therapy sessions and adjust treatments according to established protocols
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and treatment records
- Set up, calibrate, clean, and maintain therapy equipment
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and home recommendations
- Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care
- Assist with patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience
- Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls
- Collect patient payments and assist with routine front office responsibilities
- Participate in patient education events and community outreach as needed
- Follow all safety, privacy, and clinical protocols
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is personable, dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping people.
Preferred backgrounds include:
- Exercise Science
- Kinesiology
- Exercise Physiology
- Physical Therapy Aide or Rehabilitation Technician
- Athletic Training
- Chiropractic Assistant
- Medical Assistant with orthopedic or rehabilitation experience
We'll also consider candidates with other healthcare or patient care experience who are excited to learn.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in a healthcare-related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working one-on-one with patients
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Comfortable learning anatomy, treatment protocols, and new technology
- Reliable transportation to both office locations
