Must have advanced knowledge of telecom equipment installation practices with some experience working with BTS Equipment, microwave radios, DC Power Systems. Must have 2+ years experience and be proficient with installing equipment racks, equipment shelves (such as radios, multiplexers, routers, and fiber terminals), DSX panels, cable racks and trays, DC power systems, alarm and network management systems. Must be able to work on sites where live traffic exists. Proficient with network element test and access equipment and software tools (T-Berd, SiteMaster, OML, BTS Manager, etc.). Able to perform test calling plans. Proficient in electronic communication and tools (e-mail, reporting software & site databases). Must be able to read and follow installation manuals, procedures and equipment layouts, RFDS, MOPs, diagrams, etc.
