The Grove Psychiatry is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/TMS tech to join our outpatient psychiatric clinic.
The ideal candidate will assist in diagnostic testing, examinations, education, and treatment of patients while also performing clerical duties as needed. We offer a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in a team model to enhance patient experience and communication.
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document health history.
- Set up EKG/TMS machines, administer injections, and perform routine specimen collection.
- Prepare equipment and treatment rooms.
- Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked.
- Handle phone calls, schedule appointments, and update patient records.
- Facilitate patient check-out, process referrals, and arrange laboratory services.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for therapy authorizations, testing, and referrals.
- Participate in meetings, training, community outreach, and continuing education.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
*Required:*
- High School Diploma or higher.
- Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training per Arizona Board of Medical Examiners guidelines.
- Knowledge of medical practices, patient care, and front and back-office procedures.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work with diverse populations.
- Strong customer service skills; detail-oriented and professional.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
Preferred:
- 6+ months of experience in a medical office or hospital setting.

- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug testing.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
