This position will primarily be based in our King George clinic and will support clients in the Fredericksburg and King George service areas. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30–11:30 AM, 12:30–3:30 PM, and evening cases between the hours of 3:30–5:30 PM. Candidates must be available for at least two evening shifts per week.
The Behavior Place LLC is growing! We are currently hiring a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (Lead RBT) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in both clinic and home settings for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related disorders in the Fredericksburg and King George, VA areas. The primary clinic location for this position is our King George clinic.
Lead RBTs manage a caseload of clients seen primarily in the clinic and work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). In addition to providing direct services, Lead RBTs serve as a clinical support and leadership resource for team members, assist with clinic operations, and help ensure quality service delivery. Most clients are seen before or after school; however, there are opportunities to work during school hours.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The Lead Registered Behavior Technician will assist the supervisor with conducting assessments; collect data, including ABC data for FBA/BIPs; and provide input to assist the supervisor in developing goals and objectives based on evaluation and assessment results.
Administrative time will be provided, and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, weekly session note reviews and edits, scheduling, parent communication, inventory management, staff support, training assistance, and other clinic operational tasks as assigned.
The Lead Registered Behavior Technician will provide therapeutic services, including ABA, life skills, job skills, and social skills instruction in the home, school, clinic, and community settings. Ensure all documentation is accurate and timely. Complete thorough treatment notes immediately after each session. Graph client data and monitor progress toward treatment goals.
Meet or exceed company goals as identified upon hire. Ensure clients are meeting or exceeding their goals, or contact the supervisor for assistance. Determine goal acquisition using objective data. Ensure services provided are consistent with the mission, vision, and core values of the company. Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions. Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
- RBT Certification
- At least 2 years of experience as an RBT, with demonstrated leadership, mentoring, training, or supervisory experience preferred
Required Certifications & Clearances:
- CPR certified (Adult and Child)
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must hold a Registered Behavior Technician credential
