We're looking for a motivated Estimator to join our preconstruction team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to develop deep expertise in construction estimating and make a real impact on projects across the region.
What You'll Do
- Analyze bid documents, project plans, and specifications to develop a thorough understanding of scope and project requirements
- Build detailed labor, equipment, and material cost estimates from the ground up
- Identify production factors that influence project cost and schedule
- Prepare comprehensive cost analyses and competitive bid proposals
- Review and manage bids received from vendors and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Present estimates to internal management and support client project negotiations
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Math, Finance, Business, or a related field, or a relevant combination of education and experience
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
- Solid math and geometry skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
