Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and surrounding spaces, following health and safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables promptly and efficiently to ensure a tidy environment for incoming guests
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting of supplies, equipment, or furniture using safe lifting techniques
- Assist with setups and breakdowns for events or special functions
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow and address guest needs promptly
- Support bar staff by transporting dishes, ingredients, and other items as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, bussing, and food handling practices
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and carrying supplies or equipment
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Experience in hospitality is weclomed but not required.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service principles
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical tasks regularly, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
