Overview
Join our dynamic cannabis manufacturing team as a Gummy Production & Packaging Associate, where you'll play a critical role in producing high-quality edible products for the Oregon market. In this hands-on position, you'll be responsible for carefully removing gummies from production trays, inspecting products for quality, and packaging finished goods according to company standards and state compliance requirements.
This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy detail-oriented, repetitive work, take pride in maintaining exceptional quality standards, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Gummy Processing: Carefully remove gummies from production trays while maintaining product integrity, consistency, and presentation standards.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect gummies for appearance, size, texture, and overall quality. Remove products that do not meet company specifications and communicate quality concerns to supervisors.
- Packaging Operations: Package gummies into retail containers according to established SOPs, ensuringaccurate counts, proper labeling, and compliance with all OLCC and METRC requirements.
- Production Efficiency: Maintain a steady pace while meeting daily production goals without compromising product quality or accuracy.
- Sanitation & Food Safety: Follow all food safety, sanitation. Keep workstations clean, organized, and ready for production while adhering to the facility's 5S standards.
- Team Support: Assist with staging packaging materials, replenishing supplies, cleaning equipment, and supporting other production departments as needed to maintain efficient workflow.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be 21+ years of age with a valid OLCC Cannabis Worker Permit.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistent accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production goals.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Previous experience in food production, packaging, manufacturing, or cannabis processing is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written procedures, maintain compliance, and work effectively as part of a team.
