Orchard Crest Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate, organized, and professional Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) to join our Assisted Living team. If you are passionate about serving older adults and enjoy working in a collaborative, resident-centered environment, we'd love to meet you.
This position reports directly to the Director of Health Services and plays a key role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents through accurate documentation, coordination of care, and communication with families, physicians, and the nursing team.
Responsibilities
The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Monitor, maintain, and track resident assessments and reassessments.
- Prepare resident service plans and financial plans, ensuring family signatures are obtained.
- Complete resident chart setup and prepare reassessment packets.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately, filed appropriately, and within required timeframes.
- Maintain and update the Resident Characteristics Roster with new admissions and room changes.
- Assist with resident invoicing and filing completed invoices.
- Update and print resident flow sheets.
- Maintain resident and guest meal records and communicate diet orders with the Dietary Director.
- Maintain tracking forms, filing systems, and perform data entry as needed.
- Verify physician orders and submit new medication orders to the pharmacy.
- Perform Med-Tech duties when needed.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and provide exceptional quality of care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, hospitals, families, hospice providers, ancillary healthcare services, and private caregivers.
Qualifications
- Active Washington State NAC or HCA License required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare administrative or clinical support role.
- Med-Tech experience preferred.
- Experience with ALIS and electronic MAR (eMAR) systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating as part of a team.
- Ability to read and write legibly.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- GED or high school equivalent preferred.

- Ability to work effectively under physical and mental demands.
