Overview
Peachtree Cafe is looking for an ENERGETIC,OUTGOING,JOYFUL, dependable, and customer-focused team member to join our front house team. As a Cashier/Server/Expediter, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for every guest by taking orders accurately, packaging food with care, assisting with dine-in and takeout service, and maintaining a clean and organized front area.

This is a family owned business and we want someone who cares about their job and will give top tier service always not someone who is just coming for a check even though we know people need a job, this one in particular is for someone who is a peoples person.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and assist with ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Familiar with taking accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, clover, spot on etc.
- Serve customers who decided to eat in their food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and give correct change.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and register area; bus tables promptly to keep the dining space inviting.
- Support food safety and sanitation standards by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to deliver seamless service during busy hours or nightclub events.
- Willing to deescalate situations with customers
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or take out restaurant.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as clover, spot on, toast
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or transactions efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Previous host/hostess or bussing experience is beneficial; hospitality background helps in guest relations roles.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.50 per hour
