The purpose of this position is to preserve park lands by maintaining parks, medians and athletic fields. This is accomplished by operating necessary equipment and removing trash and debris. Other duties may include performing preventative maintenance on and repairing equipment, assisting in coordination and preparation of special and seasonal events, some leadership responsibilities and interfacing with other City employees and citizens. This position does may provide direction to other employees.
Salary
Pay rate: $17.85/hour
Education pay available, up to $1,200/year
Bilingual (English/Spanish) pay, $600/year
Certification pay is also available and training provided
This position will generally work Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., based on departmental needs, including after-hours and special events, as needed.
