Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs.
- Conduct patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Develop customized treatment plans that incorporate pain management strategies and anatomy knowledge.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, patient responses, and progress in compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and wellness routines to support ongoing health.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and facility policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening actively, addressing questions, and fostering client trust.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification to practice professionally.
- Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and communication.
- Hands-on expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and client-centered care approaches.
