Job Description
The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and discharge of loads at the work site. Specific duties will depend on the type of vehicle driven.
Qualifications
· 2 years of related driving experience preferred.
· Maintain clean driving record and obey all rules and regulations set forth by the DOT (Department of Transportation).
· Skilled at operating required vehicle and equipment in a safe and responsible manner while adhering to both State and Federal DOT regulations.
· Problem solving to effectively and timely analyze and resolve issues.
· Attention to detail.
· Teamwork.
-Demonstrated ability to take guidance and direction from a supervisor.
-Valid CDL License
Physical Requirements
-Requires working in hot (90°F+) temperatures; truck cab may not be air conditioned.
-Extended periods of sitting while driving to/from job sites with constant vibration and motion.
-Must have the physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete the assigned duties
-Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. independently; more than 50lbs. with assistance
-Withstand working outside, on uneven ground, for long periods of time in different weather conditions
-Be able to stand, sit, bend, crouch for long periods of time
-Complete repetitive tasks for the duration of each shift
-Climbing up and down into equipment
