Job Summary
We Are seeking a precise, detail-oriented field measurer to join our team. In this role you will travel to residential and commercial job sites to take exact physical measurements, document site conditions, and verify layout details before production or installation begins. Your accuracy will directly prevent material waste and installation delays, making you a critical link between our sales team and our fabrication / installation crews.
Key responsibilities
Site inspections: Travel to various job sites to assess project readiness and conditions.
Precision Measurement: Take highly accurate physical dimensions using manual tape measures and creating plywood templates.
Documentation: Create clear, accurate hand-sketched layouts or digi drawings detailing wall, plumbin, outlets, and structural obstacles.
Quality Assurance: identify and document potential site issues (e.g., I level floors, unplumb walls obstacles) that could impact final installation.
Communication: Hand in your reports in a timely manner and direct any questions or concerns to the owner for clarification.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in construction, carpentry, remodeling , or a related field trade.
Math & Geometry: Strong basic math skills, spatial awareness, and fractional calculation abilities.
Technology: Proficient with cell phone access to communicate with Clients, Owner and Office. Also if any photos are needed to take at the job site.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and navigate active unconditioned construction sites.
License: Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record (required for company vehicle use).
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
