We are a Specialty Retail Store with an eclectic mix of women's and men's comfort shoes, women's clothing, accessories, jewelry and leather goods. We are looking to hire a seasoned P/T permanent SALES ASSOCIATE position 20 to 40 hrs a week. We are locally owned and have been in business for over 20 years. We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual who enjoys working with people in a retail setting, and gets satisfaction from connecting with customers. "Customer Service" is more than a term, it describes how we take care of our customers.
Some responsibilities are:
- Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing exceptional customer service.
- Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
- Achieving established goals.
- Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
- Increasing in store sales.
- Superior product knowledge.
- Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
- Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
- Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
- Requirements:
- 5+ years in fashion retail sales experience in women's shoes, accessories, and apparel.
- Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
