In this energetic role, you will serve food and beverages with enthusiasm, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued. Your expertise in food service, customer relations, and restaurant operations will help create memorable moments for our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Square POS system
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision and accountability
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and maintaining a clean dining environment to ensure sanitation compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and delivery for timely service
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to inform guests effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is highly preferred, especially in fine casual dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with Square or similar POS systems is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during busy service periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance sales while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Hospitality background with experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is advantageous
