Assist with providing support to Exelon Management and field professionals in developing, planning, evaluating and implementing compliance/pollution prevention/lifecycle management programs, which reduce environmental liability and minimize financial impact

Minimum Qualifications:

BS in Physical Sciences, Geology, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Engineering or Environmental Sciences, with 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience in the environmental field.

Knowledge of utility systems and regulatory background in environmental media (water, air, UST, SPCC, ecological) disciplines.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements in hazardous materials and chemical control.

Strong background in information management systems and applications.
-
Strong people skills and ability to thrive in a team environment is essential, along with innovation, creativity, and initiative. Strong technical writing, oral communication, and negotiating skills.

Knowledge of local, state and federal environmental regulations and programs including waste/air/water regulations, associated technical/policy issues and of the regulatory development process.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively

Knowledge of computer software programs.

Ability to meet Company driving standards, including a valid driver's license.

Availability to work extended hours, including 24 x 7 coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in an Environmental discipline including Physical Sciences, Geology, Chemistry, Engineering, or Environmental Sciences.

Working experience in State or Federal regulatory agencies

Working experience in environmental consulting, or the utility industry.

Financial discipline background and excellent organization skills
Benefits:
- Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $65,600.00/Yr. – $90,200.00/Yr.
