We are hiring an experienced Steel Plate Fitter for a large heavy steel manufacturing company in Irving, Texas. This is a direct hire opportunity offering $26 per hour for qualified candidates with strong fitting and welding experience.
Responsibilities:
- Fit and assemble steel plates with precision and accuracy
- Perform combo welding as required
- Read and follow fabrication instructions and specifications
- Work independently and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Follow guidance from supervisors and team leads
- Safely lift and handle materials over 50 lbs. when needed
Requirements:
- Strong experience fitting steel plates of various sizes
- Combo welding experience required
- Ability to work independently and meet production standards
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Background must meet company hiring requirements
