Hollywood Outdoor Living is seeking a dependable, motivated Pool Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and wants the opportunity to build a long-term career in the swimming pool industry.
Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform weekly residential pool maintenance.
- Test and properly balance pool water chemistry.
- Add chlorine, salt, acid, and other pool chemicals as required.
- Brush pool walls, steps, benches, and waterline tile.
- Skim debris and vacuum pools as needed.
- Empty skimmer and pump baskets.
- Inspect filters, pumps, heaters, salt systems, cleaners, and other pool equipment.
- Identify equipment problems, leaks, or unusual operating conditions.
- Perform basic maintenance and minor equipment repairs after appropriate training.
- Maintain accurate service records for each customer.
- Communicate professionally with customers and the service department.
- Keep assigned company vehicle, equipment, and tools clean and organized.
- Follow company procedures for the safe handling and transportation of pool chemicals.

- Willingness to learn pool chemistry, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Previous pool maintenance or pool equipment experience is a plus.

Compensation
Hollywood Outdoor Living offers competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
Applicants with 1+ year of verifiable pool maintenance or service experience are encouraged to apply. References are required for experienced applicants seeking above-entry-level compensation.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
