Job Summary
Stepping Stones Child Academy is seeking a dedicated, patient, and passionate Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska. In this role, you will create a positive, nurturing, and safe learning environment where children ages 3 to 5 can thrive. You will design engaging educational experiences, build trusting relationships with families, and collaborate with a supportive team of professionals to promote excellent early childhood outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute daily lessons for children ages 3 to 5 across all developmental domains, including social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development.

Observe, document, and assess each child's learning, growth, and development to tailor instruction and track milestones.

Maintain effective classroom and behavior management, utilizing positive guidance techniques to foster a respectful and orderly environment.

Establish and maintain close, trusting relationships with families through regular and open communication regarding their child's progress.

Collaborate with co-workers, management, and outside service providers to support the diverse needs of all children and promote positive child outcomes.

Ensure the classroom remains a safe, clean, and inspiring environment conducive to learning and exploration.
Qualifications and Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Experience working with children ages 3 to 5 in a licensed childcare or educational setting.

Full-time availability to meet the scheduling needs of the academy.

Reliable transportation to ensure consistent and timely attendance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

High level of patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with young children.

Current CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
