Job Summary:
MTA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is a centralized HQ team dedicated to enabling smarter, data-driven decisions across asset management activities for all MTA operating units (NYCT, MNR, LIRR, and TBTA). This team does not manage EAM systems day-to-day; instead, it partners with maintenance, EAM, and capital leaders in each operating unit to identify opportunities where advanced analytics and decision-support tools can improve asset performance and operational efficiency, and subsequently performs the analytics or develops the tech tools.
The Senior Director, EAM Value Realization ensures that MTA operating agencies achieve maximum benefit from EAM systems, most notably via deployment and adaptation of Hexagon/Octave software and related supporting systems. This role focuses on converting system capabilities and maintenance practices into measurable improvements in asset and services reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and operational decision making. The director partners closely with maintenance, operations, EAM, and capital planning teams to guide adoption, optimize workflows, and standardize best practices. The role manages a team of 3–5 professionals dedicated to EAM analytics, deployment support, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:

Value realization for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Hexagon/Octave asset management software including:

-
Facilitate knowledge sharing across NYCT, LIRR, MNR, TBTA to ensure operating units leverage lessons learned and avoid common deployment and adaptation challenges.
-
Assist in data engineering to ensure the MTA has a common approach to ingesting and analyzing data in an ‘apples to apples’ way
-
Coordinate forums, working groups, and structured processes for alignment on system usage and reporting.
-
Technical Team Leadership:
-
Manage a team of 3–5 analysts, data scientists, and other specialists focused on analytics, modeling, value tracking, and workflow optimization.
-
Provide coaching, set priorities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

-
Support establishment of KPIs that demonstrate performance and cost baselines and improved reliability, optimized maintenance, and enhanced decision-making enabled by EAM systems.

-
Create new analytic reports via a data lake zone that draws from all relevant systems to provide end-to-end insights from EAM, supply chain, and schedules
