JOB PURPOSE
As a Project Engineer (Mechanical), you’ll dive into hands-on design and analysis work using both classic engineering know-how and modern tools. You’ll get to flex your problem-solving muscles by choosing and tweaking proven methods to fit each challenge. Whether it’s sketching out ideas by hand or running simulations with cutting-edge software, you’ll be right in the thick of turning concepts into real-world solutions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans and performs engineering duties as assigned.

Uses 3D CAD software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.

Learns necessary software packages to support a variety of client work.

Builds models and prototypes of the product; tests the design; makes comparisons with similar designs; and produces specifications for products.

Selects raw materials and components to be used in production.

Optimizes time management skills and maintains billability to influence positive client results.

Recognizes new project opportunities, including project extensions and changes in scope.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Working knowledge of 3D CAD tools.

Experience with independent evaluation and application of standard engineering techniques, including mechanics, materials science, and thermodynamics.

Flexibility to work on a variety of projects with various levels of difficulty.

Ability to use judgment to make minor adaptations and modifications.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, mechanical, technical, and written/verbal communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail.
