Duties
- Perform customized massage treatments including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, stretching and other therapeutic modalities to address individual patient needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology, anatomy, and medical history
- Educate patients on pain management techniques, occupational health practices, and self-care strategies to enhance their wellness journey
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients with complex or chronic pain conditions
- Ensure a clean, safe, and tranquil treatment environment that adheres to all health regulations and sanitation protocols
- Stay current with industry advancements by participating in ongoing education, including med spa techniques and holistic therapy trends
Skills
- Proven experience in patient service with a focus on compassionate care and active listening
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management
- Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly
- Excellent customer service skills that foster trust and promote positive patient experiences
- Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace wellness programs
- Integrate professional stretching techniques and modalities to promote optimal movement and relief for clients.
