Responsibilities
- Responsible of full vehicle life cycle management
- Serve as the primary contact concerning fleet operations.
- Making sure that all trucks are labeled properly in the fleet software.
- Renew vehicle registrations and ensure emission tests are completed on time that all vehicle decals and licensing remain current.
- Manage Fleet vehicle tracking workbook: Asset List, Registration renewals, Safety Recalls, EZ pass transponders, GPS Monitoring devices, Gas Cards, Maintenance log, Vehicle Keys, Driver log. Maintain a database of trucks and driver information.
- Maintain an active list of vendor accounts we use. These accounts include who we use for Maintenance, repairs and roadside assistance.
- Manages inspection records for compliance and maintains updates for all records and logs and ensures all vehicles are DOT Compliant.
- Determines necessary repairs, responsible for estimate costs and determines the appropriate steps to take to ensure safety and integrity of our fleet and equipment.
- Code all Maintenance invoices and submit them to accounting.
- Set parameters for notifications to be sent for oil, tires, and all necessary scheduling of Maintenance of vehicles. These should be based on average life cycles for each Maintenance. When these are due, managers or technicians need to be notified of scheduling.
- Maintain an active list of vendor accounts we use. These accounts include who we use for Maintenance, repairs, and roadside assistance.
- Establish relationships and set up fleet accounts with our Maintenance vendors. Negotiate services to ensure we are receiving competitive pricing.
- Establish a direct vendor contact with Verizon Connect in case there are changes that need to be made to the trackers whether it's adding or changing out software for the vehicles. Company primary point of contact with Verizon Connect.
- Order, install all GPS trackers and verify they are in functioning order.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Fleet Admin experience.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision; must be a self-starter.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and high-volume environment.
- Must have a valid Driver's license with a good driving record.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
