Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and friendly Hostess to join our team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing seating arrangements and cashier responsibilities. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a positive first impression
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring smooth seating flow and efficient table turnover
- Handle cashier duties accurately, processing payments with attention to detail and maintaining cash register integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, dining area, and cashier station in compliance with food safety standards
- Answer guest inquiries politely via phone etiquette, providing information about menu items, placing orders, or special requests
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate seating arrangements and guest needs to optimize service flow
Requirements
- Previous host/hostess experience or food service background is preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills to manage seating charts, and cash handling efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper cash handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Good phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Weekends shifts are REQUIRED
- Must be at least 16+ years old
- Must be able to speak both English and Spanish
- Must have a Nevada Food Handler Card
