Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing and developing individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health needs, particularly those with developmental disabilities. You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral interventions and support strategies that promote positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress through data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide training and support to staff, families, and caregivers on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and facilitate access to necessary resources.
- Stay current with best practices in behavioral therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices, including data collection methods.
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.
