American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring 2-3 years of OR experience and a Michigan RN license.

Hospital-based Operating Room setting at a Level 1 trauma center
-
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30)

One weekend shift required per every 4-week schedule (8-hour shifts)

On-call requirement to be discussed during interview, with a 30-minute response time

Holiday coverage required as needed

Active Michigan RN license required

Current BLS certification (AHA) required

Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience required

Scrub experience in any OR specialty preferred

Experience with highly specialized cases such as vascular, neuro, and robotics preferred

Level 1 trauma center experience preferred

Well-rounded OR team members sought with broad surgical specialty exposure

Holiday time-off requests are generally not approved, as holiday coverage is typically required

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to or at the time of consideration
