Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to a disabled adult
- Administer medication as prescribed by a nurse or healthcare professional
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individual
- Provide first aid and emergency care when necessary
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals who are wheelchair bound
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Ability to clean and maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
