JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The File Transfer Professional is responsible for exchanging data between our Payroll, HR, and Time and Labor products and the external partners that our clients use to provide other related services such as 401(k), benefits, banking, and benefit data. The File Transfer Professional works directly with clients, client vendors, and our internal teams to successfully setup file transfers between ProLiant and the client vendor on a recurring basis.

- Ensures the daily support of clients, answering questions regarding the file transfers.
- Professionally services clients and collaborates with other representatives.
- Proactively identifies issues and solutions for clients to quickly address their needs.
- Excels in customer service to ensure all clients are highly satisfied.
- Obtains file specifications and transfer protocols; ensures that custom exports are created, setup, and tested for each new file transfer.
- Researches issues with files and provide a timely resolution.
- Ensures that all files are transmitted timely and accurately, and confirmed on a daily basis according to client and vendor specifications.
- Reviews, researches, and corrects inbound and outbound file transfer issues daily.
- Audits daily maintenance activities across multiple data/scheduling integration systems.
- Researches transmissions and payroll data to respond to inquiries from customers, external partners, and internal support staff.
- Sets up new file transfers for clients.
- Stays up-to-date on payroll regulations as to ensure compliance as well as for certification upkeep when relevant.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or similar field.
- High understanding of and ability to develop proficiency in Company software and all other applicable software programs.
- Highly motivated, proactive, detail oriented, and accountable.
- Excellent communication skills, and comfortable communicating in serious scenarios.
- Ability to manage and complete multiple projects and activities with strict time sensitive deadlines.
- Aptitude to learn new software and SQL queries; experience with SQL a plus.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers/scanners. Overtime work may be required during quarter end and year end processes.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday, and the employee is required to work an approved schedule that falls within the Company business hours of 8am-6pm.
