JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: After-School Enrichment/ETC Program Site Coordinator II
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Community Education Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with children- Good communication skills
- Creativity
- Bookkeeping skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to assist students with academic work
- Experience in school-age child care or elementary enrichment programs necessary
- High School Diploma, G.E.D. Certificate
- Pass health examination
- Have no immoral or criminal history
- Have ability to work with other staff members and with children
DUTIES:
- Provide an interesting, safe, healthy, and enriching environment conducive to meeting the individual needs of youth
- Work with school personnel, youth, parents, and school community in developing a well-rounded, enrichment program for students P-1 through
- Supervise specialty teachers/program assistants to assure quality instruction for youth
- Design, in cooperation with community education director, daily/monthly preparation of activities and activities calendar. Develop/maintain roster of specialty instructors
- Assist community education director in development of program promotion
- Report required information regarding program, facility, staff, student and parent concerns to Community Education office.
- Meet with Parent Advisory Council at regularly scheduled meetings
- Coordinate/develop daily snack menu and/or lunch menu for students; shop for supplies
- Keep and maintain accurate records of participating students, i.e. enrollment, medical/health forms, permission forms, sign-in and sign-out records, licensing documents, etc. Collect parent/student fees
- Participate in scheduled professional development training and staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned by Community Education Director
