Rebenack, Aronow & Mascolo, LLP, a plaintiff's personal injury law firm with three (3) offices located in Central New Jersey, is seeking a full-time paralegal to join its Somerville office team. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is preferred, but not required.
Candidates must have no less than two (2) years' experience working in litigation (preferably a personal injury practice), inclusive of familiarity with court procedures/e-filing; the ability to read and summarize medical reports; and the ability to draft discovery motions and responses and non-binding arbitration statements.
Candidates must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, as well as the computer in general. Additionally, candidates should have strong writing and communication skills, both over the phone and in-person, with the ability to resolve issues for clients in a friendly and timely manner.
A keen attention to detail and organization is necessary, along with the skill and confidence to manage multiple calendars simultaneously.
The ideal candidate is able to work independently, and as part of a team; proactive; and experienced with at least one (1) document management program, e.g., Clio.
