Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Reunion and Volunteer Giving, the Development Coordinator provides overall administrative and program support to the Reunion and Volunteer Giving team in the Development and Alumni Relations division. This position is responsible for scheduling staff or volunteer meetings, submitting expense reports, preparing documents and presentations, managing reunion and volunteer data entry, and assisting with volunteer or donor follow-up. In addition, the incumbent compiles weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports regarding reunion campaign metrics, volunteer engagement, and gift officer outcomes. The Development Coordinator will work closely with the entire Annual Giving team, as well as with campus partners, to achieve the goals of the reunion and volunteer giving program.

Preferences:
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of related experience
Experience in a fundraising environment in an educational or non-profit organization
High level of maturity and emotional intelligence with capability of exercising good judgment
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and tactfully
Familiarity with fundraising database software and recordkeeping
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Creativity, motivation, and superior problem-solving skills
Experience with Blackbaud CRM or other advancement system
Experience in a PC Windows environment
Ability to adapt to different software applications
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, Workday, etc.)
Experience in online accounting and transaction vouchering
Essential Functions:
Generates routine communications; coordinates production (formatting, copying, etc.) and distribution of documents, such as presentations, reports, brochures, and displays
Plans and schedules calendar(s), resolves calendaring conflicts, and arranges travel
Processes and monitors financial transactions, including resolution of discrepancies
Performs other duties as assigned
Additional Functions:
Manages reunion and volunteer information in OwlConnect, the campus-wide advancement system and GiveCampus, the Development and Alumni Relations volunteer management system
Serves as liaison to teams within Development and Alumni Relations and with campus partners
Oversees special projects as assigned
