Pipefitter – Machine Tool Manufacturing Environment
- 2 Week Contract, Urgent Start
Candidate is highly experienced performing the following pipefitting activities independently with minimal supervision in a machine tool and industrial automation environment:

Read and interpret pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematic drawings

Read mechanical assembly drawings and bills of material (BOMs)

Build, thread, and install pipe headers
-
Install service stands, lockout valves, and related piping components
-
Pipe robotic systems and sealer equipment
-
Prepare and assemble valve packs and manifolds
-
Route, install, and dress hoses and tubing to customer specifications
-
Drill, tap, and ream holes as required for installation
-
Perform mechanical assembly and piping modifications during machine builds
-
Utilize hand tools, drill presses, grinders, and other fabrication equipment safely and effectively
-
