We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Mobile Diagnostic Technician to support repair facilities, collision centers, dealerships, and glass companies throughout West Michigan. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who enjoys solving complex electrical and network issues while working independently in the field. As a trusted expert, you will perform advanced diagnostics, programming, and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models, utilizing state-of-the-art OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities- Diagnose complex electrical and vehicle communication system faults.- Troubleshoot CAN, LIN, and other vehicle network communication issues.- Perform module programming, coding, configuration, and software updates.- Conduct pre- and post-repair vehicle scans and document findings.- Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems.- Support ADAS calibrations and Advanced Driver Assistance System diagnostics.- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical service information to resolve complex vehicle concerns.- Utilize diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.- Assist customers with repair recommendations and communicate findings professionally.- Maintain detailed service records, diagnostic reports, and repair documentation.- Travel to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle.Qualifications- 5+ years of automotive diagnostic experience (dealership experience preferred).- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, vehicle networks, and electronic control systems.- Experience with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and service information.- Knowledge of ADAS systems, module programming, coding, and calibration procedures.- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with automotive repair and maintenance.- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects efficiently.- Excellent communication and customer service skills.- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.- ASE certifications are a plus.Compensation & Benefits- Competitive base salary- Performance-based commission opportunities- Paid training and continuing education- Paid vacation and holidays- Health insurance options- State-of-the-art diagnostic and programming equipment- Significant income growth potentialWhy Join Our Team?Our technicians are trusted experts in advanced diagnostics, programming, and ADAS services. Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
