JDR Transportation seeks an experienced semi dump driver. He/she must have the ability to function well as part of a team. He/she must be punctual, have effective organizational and communication skills.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Pre and post trip inspections. Check vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Good communication skills to maintain contact with dispatcher.
- Arrive to job site on time
- Maneuver truck into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Follow all JDR Transportation safety procedures and safety standards
- Refuel and clean truck
- Complete daily paperwork
Physical Abilities:
- Must be physically able to climb and lift and carry 30 to 50 pounds.
- Sit or drive approximately 80%; stand or walk approximately 20%.
- Working conditions sometimes include both high heat and cold temperatures
Requirements:
- Must have a clean MVR
- Be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Class A CDL
- Read and write English

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
