Do you love dogs? Then this is the job for you!! It is hard work but lots of fun! We are currently hiring for a part-time (15-25 hrs. a week) Kennel Attendant. We are looking for someone who LOVES dogs, to work at a very busy dog boarding facility in Newport Beach. The job requires a LOT of hard work but it is fun and rewarding (not to mention all the dog kisses you'd ever want!)
We are looking for qualified candidates with an underlying love for dogs. Kennel Attendants play a key role in the company's success in terms of dog and client satisfaction. This opportunity requires someone with knowledge of dogs and their behavior, being proactive rather than reactive, business maturity, and handling themselves with poise. We are a family run business and treat our employees as such. We are looking for someone with charisma, positive attitude, diligence, punctuality, and eagerness! This can be an extremely rewarding job.
Kennel Attendant duties are as follows: managing a pack of dogs, bathing, feeding, and cleaning up after dogs and the facility.
Basic Qualifications:
- 18 years or older
- Team player
- Good physical shape
- Comfortable on feet during shift
- Positive attitude
- Comfortable with barking
- Unafraid of any sized dog
- Able to clean with various cleaning products.
Applicants who have worked at another doggy daycare, boarding kennel, rescue, veterinary hospital, training facility are desired, but not required!
