Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Finance Analyst to support financial operations through account reconciliations, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and revenue accounting. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and advanced Excel proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly account and bank reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Ensure accurate posting between sub-ledgers and the General Ledger.
- Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies.
- Assist with revenue accounting and financial reporting.
- Support internal and external audit requests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes.
- Recommend and support system and process enhancements.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting, finance, or auditing experience.
- Strong understanding of General Ledger, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Experience supporting audits.
- Knowledge of revenue accounting and financial reconciliations.
- Exposure to Power BI or SQL is a plus.
