Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to keep surfaces shining
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery and large-scale sanitation projects
- Assist with custodial responsibilities like trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies
- Support maintenance activities such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and facility upkeep to ensure optimal working conditions
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of completed tasks and report any facility issues or safety hazards promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services preferred; experience in commercial or industrial settings is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance or residential painting is advantageous but not required
