Chiropractic Assistant Job Description:
- Have the opportunity to learn and help operate a health care practice
- Greet and interact kindly with patients and their families/guests
- Learn and efficiently operate an all-in-one business software program which includes scheduling, billing, records, accounting and more
- Firsthand experience with health insurance carriers – benefit search, claims experience, remittance understanding, etc
- Innovation! Have input to help enhance patient experience by providing constructive ground-up ideas and independence implementing them!
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Chiropractic care and The Gonstead System
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards
- Manage scheduling and appointment confirmations to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with the chiropractic team to improve patient care processes
- Check in and direct patient flow to and from the doctor
- Check out and collect patient payments, schedule patient appointments
- Handle a multi-line phone system, fax, and credit card machine
- Advocate and generate new patient referrals-Opportunity for bonus $
- Assist Doctor of Chiropractic as needed
- Maintain positive, uplifting office environment
- Maintain organization in office forms, supplies, and inventory
- Wash, fold, and maintain patient gowns
- Keep office clean and tidy
- Assist the doctor with any duties to make the office/clinic more efficient that may be needed

Requirements:
- An always pleasant and uplifting attitude; proactive towards learning new information
- Proficient with computer systems, Google Docs/Sheets, and Microsoft Office
- Strong patient service skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining records
- Strong sales and customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail and goal oriented; punctual
- Self-motivated and Attention to Detail a MUST
- Proficient basic math skills/accounting experience preferred
- Committed to a healthy lifestyle
- Be able to bend, stand, stoop, and lift up to 30-40 pounds
- Thrive in a busy environment independently as well as in a team
- Optimist, who creates an uplifting environment for themselves and others
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Professional attire required and well-groomed presenting a positive image of The Health Clinic
- High school diploma, college preferred
- Desire to LEARN! Insurance and Admin Assistant experience preferred but a positive attitude and DESIRE to LEARN will trump all else with growth and knowledge able to be taught to a quick learner!
