Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our inpatient detox and rehab services program with various hourly shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications per the MD/APN order, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. Prior experience administering medication in a detox/rehab facility setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems such as Kipu.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Nursing ( 1 year preferred)
- EMR system, ( 1 year preferred)
- Valid NJ License
- BLS ( American Heart Association/American Red Cross
- Registered Nurse ( RN) in NJ
- Experience with addiction treatment preferred
- IV therapy certification preferred
