Do you envision a Brytr world? Because we do. At Brytr, we believe homes and the people in them deserve to shine. Our mission is simple: bring light to people and places. Every day, our team installs advanced permanent smart lighting systems that transform homes, celebrate holidays, and create unforgettable moments for homeowners. We’re building something special, a company defined by elite performance, strong values, and a commitment to five-star experiences. And we’re just getting started.
Brytr is a locally owned and operated lighting leader, already recognized among the top dealers in the country, but our vision doesn’t stop there. Over the next three years, we aim to grow into a $10M company with six locations, creating opportunities for people who want to build something meaningful, not just work somewhere.
Our growth has led to a new role for an Installation Manager to own the day-to-day execution of all installations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for scheduling, subcontractor management, homeowner communication, materials coordination, quality control, and warehouse organization. This is not a desk job, it’s a field-focused role for someone who leads by example and takes pride in doing things the right way.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Installation Scheduling: Oversee residential lighting projects from scheduling through completion, coordinating installation schedules and ensuring work is planned, communicated, and executed efficiently. Prepare jobs in advance by reviewing photos, layouts, lighting zones, and material requirements to ensure each project is ready for installation.
- Project Execution: Manage and support installation crews, launching projects on-site and setting teams up for success. Ensure crews arrive prepared, work safely and efficiently, and consistently deliver high-quality craftsmanship that meets Brytr's standards.
- Homeowner Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the installation process. Provide proactive communication before, during, and after installations to ensure customers remain informed, confident, and impressed with the overall experience.
- Inventory, Quality & Operational Excellence: Coordinate materials, inventory, and warehouse organization to ensure crews have the resources needed to complete projects successfully. Maintain accurate CRM documentation, oversee punch lists and follow-up work, and continuously improve installation processes to minimize rework, maintain quality standards, and support the company's growing installation capacity.
What You Need
- Knowledge: Consistent work history with a proven track record of consistently achieving goals. Experience in construction, field operations, or project management with the responsibility of managing subcontractors or field crews. Prior roles such as Project Manager, Production Supervisor, Installation Manager, Operations Trainer, Production Manager, Construction Manager, or similar role. Mechanically or technically inclined (lighting or electrical experience is a plus).
- Skills: A servant leader who puts people before ego. Someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty or jump in when needed. Calm, confident, and solution-oriented under pressure. Highly organized and self-motivated (no micromanagement here). Strong communicator with crews and customers. Enjoys being outside, leading people, and building something long-term.
- Ability: This role is based in Omaha, NE, and requires the ability to operate a company vehicle. Valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a motor vehicle record and felony/misdemeanor background check.
At Brytr, our core values light the way for who we are.
- SALT & LIGHT: Bring positivity, humility, and integrity to everything you do.
- WIN THE DAY: Bring energy, urgency, and ownership to your work.
- WHATEVER IT TAKES: Solve problems, overcome obstacles, and never give up on delivering a five-star experience.
If you’re looking for a leadership role where your work matters, your effort is noticed, and you can help build something special, we’d love to talk.
