Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete General Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the crew responsible for executing various concrete-related tasks on construction sites. Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable and high-quality structures.
- Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures according to blueprint specifications and safety standards.
- Install rebar reinforcement to strengthen concrete elements, ensuring compliance with engineering plans.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete pumps safely and efficiently during various phases of construction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to construction workplace safety regulations at all times.
- Support heavy lifting, material handling, and other general labor duties necessary for project progression.
Experience
- Prior experience working on construction sites, particularly with concrete or related trades such as carpentry or masonry.
- Familiarity with concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and plastering techniques.
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, and concrete pouring processes.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and pumps safely in accordance with safety protocols.
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and the importance of adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions is essential.
