About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Entry-Level Developer to join our growing team in Melbourne, FL.
In this role, you’ll work closely with senior developers to maintain and improve our internal software systems and client-facing web portals. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive environment where learning, collaboration, and clean code are valued.
A Day in the Life
As an Entry-Level Developer, your average day will include:
- Maintaining and debugging internal software systems
- Managing and enhancing our web-based customer portals
- Collaborating with team members to build new features and functionality
- Participating in code reviews and project discussions
- Writing well-documented, maintainable code with a focus on performance and error handling

An Entry-Level Developer should be eager to learn, have a strong work ethic, and adapt quickly to new technology, languages, and frameworks.

- Assist with various tasks such as coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting software applications
- Writing code based on specifications provided by senior team members
- Collaborating with senior team members to ensure projects are completed successfully
- Provide feedback and suggestions in a casual, friendly tone, making technical advice approachable and understandable
- Actively seek feedback, learn from mistakes, and continuously improve coding skills and knowledge
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in VB.NET, Transact-SQL, and embedding HTML in SQL for XML
- Experience with Vue.js (front end) and Express.js (back end)
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and full-stack development principles
- Familiarity with integrating front-end and back-end systems
- Ability to write clean, well-formatted, and maintainable code
- Emphasis on strong error handling, readability, and performance
Soft Skills:
- Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to accept and apply feedback constructively
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Reliable in following a project from start to finish
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not required)
- SQL Certification is highly preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar industry is a plus, but not required
