Job Overview
We are a small buisness, but we are growning. We are looking for a trimmer/mower for the mowing crew. This postion is a great opportunity for someone ambitios. Ideally the person that fills this role becomes the Crew Lead soon.
This is a contract position, and it comes with the perks. The crew is given a list of lawns to be mowed that week. When mowing slows the crew shift to leaf removal and other landscaping work. When the list is finished, the crew gets paid for the week. This gives the crew a lot of flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Operate mowers/trimmers and other landscaping equipment to maintain lawns and gardens.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various landscaping tasks.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and performing tasks on-site.
- Complete a set number of lawns per week.
Experience
- Proven experience in lawn care, landscaping, or related fields. (prefered)
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.(prefered)
Pay Scale:
We are a small company and we are rapidly growing. Starting pay will be based on experience. Plenty of oppertunity for raises.
Job Flexibility:
When I started in this field, I was a full-time college student. I know students schedules change and I am more than happy to give you the days off needed to attend classes, or any other permanent arrangements you have.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 42.0 per week
