Job Summary
The Business Applications Analyst is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Post Falls, ID. This position supports, configures, and enhances the business applications used by HighPoint‑IT and its clients across operational, administrative, and financial functions. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, documenting workflows, and translating operational needs into effective system configurations or improvements.
This role also focuses on data‑driven insights and modern application development. The analyst will build and maintain dashboards in Power BI, assist with web‑based tools or internal portals, and support integrations between systems. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting application issues, coordinating with IT teams and vendors, performing testing for upgrades or new features, and ensuring data accuracy and secure access controls. The analyst will develop user documentation, train staff and clients on system functionality, and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, reporting capabilities, automation, and overall user experience.
Ideal Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and support operational and technical decision‑making.
- Demonstrated business analysis and process mapping abilities to document requirements, streamline workflows, and improve system efficiency.
- Solid information technology and technical support skills, including configuring applications, resolving system issues, and collaborating with IT teams and vendors.
- Experience with Power BI, including building dashboards, modeling data, and creating actionable visualizations.
- Foundational web development skills (such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or working with web‑based platforms) to support internal tools, client portals, or lightweight application enhancements.
- Experience with business applications such as ERP systems, CRM platforms, ticketing systems, workflow automation tools, or cloud‑based business systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally and support diverse user groups.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
