AVAILABLE POSITIONS
- SQF PRACTITIONER – $27.00/HOUR
Employment Type: Temporary and/or Direct Hire
The SQF Practitioner will support the facility’s food safety and quality systems, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support the facility’s SQF System, HACCP plans and GMP programs.
- Conduct internal audits, inspections and product-quality checks.
- Manage nonconformance reports, corrective actions and CAPAs.
- Review food safety and production documentation for accuracy.
- Create and update SOPs and food safety procedures.
- Prepare and provide food safety training to employees.
- Work with Production, Purchasing and R&D to maintain ingredient, packaging and finished-product specifications.
- Support regulatory, customer and SQF audit preparation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Food manufacturing quality assurance or quality control experience.
- Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMP and food safety regulations.
- Experience with internal audits, CAPAs and controlled documentation.
- Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- SQF Practitioner and HACCP certifications preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- R&D BAKERY TECHNICIAN – $27.00/HOUR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
This position works between a test kitchen in Redlands and a manufacturing facility in Perris. Reliable transportation between both locations is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test and refine bakery formulas and new product concepts.
- Conduct test-kitchen trials and coordinate commercial production trials.
- Scale formulas from small batches to full manufacturing production.
- Evaluate texture, flavor, moisture, yield, shelf stability and overall quality.
- Document formulas, ingredients, adjustments, test results and revision history.
- Review labels, allergen declarations and product specifications.
- Support product reformulation, cost-saving and quality-improvement projects.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchasing and Quality teams during product launches.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three to five years of bakery or food manufacturing R&D experience.
- Experience developing and scaling bakery formulas.
- Strong knowledge of baking science and ingredient functionality.
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, labeling and food safety requirements.
- Strong mathematical, documentation and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working in both a test kitchen and manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual preferred.
- MIXING OPERATORS – $18.00/HOUR
Schedule:
- First Shift: Starts at 5:00 AM
- Second Shift: Starts at 2:30 PM
Mixing Operators are responsible for preparing bakery products by accurately following recipes, measuring ingredients and supporting the mixing and production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow recipes, formulas and production instructions accurately.
- Weigh, measure and scale ingredients.
- Operate or assist with industrial mixing equipment.
- Monitor product consistency, mixing times and batch quality.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
- Follow all GMP, food safety and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with production activities based on daily operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous bakery, food production or manufacturing experience.
- Experience following recipes and scaling ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Reliable, detail-oriented and safety-focused.
- Available to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Steel-toe or approved safety shoes are required.
- TEMPORARY OPERATIONS DOCUMENTATION COORDINATOR – $23.00/HOUR
Employment Type: Temporary, Project-Based Assignment
This position will support operational documentation and process-standardization projects within a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create SOPs, work instructions and employee training materials.
- Observe manufacturing processes and document operating procedures.
- Develop clear step-by-step instructions for production equipment.
- Capture and organize photographs and videos for training documents.
- Document equipment startup, shutdown, cleaning and changeover procedures.
- Review and update existing operational documents.
- Maintain document organization, formatting and revision history.
- Communicate with Production, Quality Assurance and Maintenance employees to verify processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong administrative, writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to turn technical information into clear, user-friendly instructions.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects.
- Willingness to walk through production areas to observe processes.
- Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
