About M&S Broadway Studios
M&S Broadway Studios is seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and creative Acting Teacher to work with children and teens ages 5–17.
Our students do more than simply attend acting classes. They step into stories, create characters, improvise, audition, rehearse, perform, and participate in immersive theatrical experiences throughout the year.
We are looking for a teaching artist who can build students’ confidence while making theatre exciting, interactive, and memorable.
Schedule & Work Opportunities
The Acting Teacher may have opportunities to work:
- Monday–Thursday in our Broadway Conservatory
- Saturdays during Storybook Discovery Saturdays
- At our Boynton Beach Mall location
- At local schools through after-school partnerships
- At festivals and community events
- During rehearsals, productions, performances, and special programs
Scheduling and hours may vary depending on programming and events.
Responsibilities
- Teach acting fundamentals and theatre techniques
- Lead improvisation exercises and acting games
- Teach storytelling and character development
- Help students improve confidence, communication, and stage presence
- Direct scenes, monologues, and short performances
- Assist with auditions and castings
- Prepare students for productions and performances
- Participate in rehearsals
- Assist with Stage & Screen projects
- Introduce basic on-camera acting techniques when appropriate
- Help lead interactive Saturday Storybook experiences
- Portray characters during selected programs and events
- Improvise and interact with children while remaining in character
- Collaborate with dance, music, and visual arts instructors
- Participate in festivals, holiday programs, community events, and special performances
- Maintain an encouraging, professional, safe, and welcoming environment
Character Performance Is Part of the Experience
Our Saturday and special-event programming brings stories to life.
Applicants should be comfortable:
- Wearing costumes or themed attire
- Portraying assigned characters
- Improvising in character
- Interacting enthusiastically with children and families
- Participating in immersive story-based experiences
- Performing during selected events and programs
We are looking for someone who can embrace the playful and imaginative side of children’s theatre while maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications
Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Acting
- Theatre
- Musical theatre
- Improvisation
- Directing
- Children’s theatre
- Character performance
- Film or on-camera acting
- Theatre education

Job Type: Part-Time
Location: Boynton Beach, Florida
Additional hours may become available through studio programming, school partnerships, productions, festivals, and community events.
