Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Math Teacher to inspire and engage students in grades 5 through 8. Duties
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, including topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and discrete math
- Incorporate learning technology to enhance student engagement and understanding of mathematical concepts
- Assess student progress through adaptive testing , quizzes, projects, and formative assessments; provide timely feedback to support growth
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages participation and respect among students
- Adapt instructional strategies to accommodate various learning styles and special education needs, ensuring all students can succeed
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and educational best practices
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral reports in compliance with school policies and regulations
Experience
- Proven classroom experience teaching middle school students in a formal educational setting
- Experience integrating learning technology into lesson plans and utilizing digital tools for instruction and assessment
- Background in curriculum development tailored to diverse student needs and learning styles
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, parents, and administration
Pay: $38,000.00 - $41,000.00 per year
